Introducing… Travel Tuesday: Thailand
Our work with our global clients takes us around the world. In the process we get the opportunity to meet exceptional people and see some pretty amazing things. We’re starting a new blog category we’re calling “Travel Tuesday” where we will periodically share some of these experiences with you.
This month VP and Principal Amy Howard took a break from her travels in Asia to spend the day at rescue and rehabilitation center Patara Elephant Farm in northern Thailand. The farm pairs individuals with their own elephant for the day and provides education on elephant health, natural breeding, and communication. Additionally, participants play a primary role in feeding and grooming (bathing) their elephant, which Amy noted meant “… at the end of the day she (Buan Jha) was much cleaner than I was!”
