Milk Run
A milk run in terms of logistics and product movement, is a regular route that is traveled at a regular cadence to bring materials or products from point A to point B, C, D.
A milk run uses of single delivery vehicles for multiple pickups or deliveries rather than multiple vehicles for single purpose pickups or deliveries and ensures consistent supply of material to the line. This method is often used for production leveling.
